How do i get to Padang?

Getting to Padang is relatively easy. You can take a short flight to Padang from Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta or Singapore. Getting to any one of these 3 cities from anywhere in the world should not be difficult as they are major hubs for international airlines.

Our Australian staff find the easiest and cheapest for them is with Air Asia to Kuala Lumpur. From Kuala Lumpur Air Asia has one flight every day to Padang that takes only about 1 hour.

Many airlines fly daily to Jakarta from around the globe. From Jakarta there are many choices of domestic airlines that frequently fly in and out of Padang, Garuda Indonesia being an international airline is chosen by many but Lion Air and Mandala Airlines are just a couple of the other choices from Jakarta. If your also going through Bali you may want to choose one of the above airlines from there to Padang with a short stop in Jakarta.

Via Singapore is another popular choice of travelling surfers. Singapore Airlines can get you from Singapore to Padang.
